Getting Started

Class
Beginning Irish dancers normally start at a beginner level class and are welcomed from kindergarten age up. Transferring students if accepted will join a class appropriate to their skill level.

Students participating in regular classes are required to wear shorts and t-shirts. Special shoes are not required immediately but as you advance you will want to purchase ghillies/pumps (girls) or jazz shoes (boys). Dance shoes are regularly available second hand through the school newsletter. Students should also bring a water bottle with them to class.

Not sure if Irish Dancing is for you - Come check us out! Please make arrangements with a class coordinator to observe or try out a class.
